Recruiters
Recruiters are the go-between of the client (company hiring you by hiring the contract company), staffing agency (who the recruiter works for and who pays you directly), and the therapist (you). Here are a few ways to find them.
By Job Posting
You can find a recruiter by finding an awesome job and making an inquiry. This can be a great way to get into higher paying jobs to which your known recruiters may not have access. However, sometimes the postings are vague or old, and you're left with a persistent recruiter when you may not want the job they have to offer; be sure to check the date of the posting!
By Referral
If you have a friend who is in travel therapy, you can ask them to refer you to their recruiter. Usually a monetary kickback is given if you accept a position with their recruiter. This is a great way to find recruiters from a trusted source. We've been blessed with great recruiters and would be happy to refer you if you're interested! Use the chat feature or contact us.
Ask the Staffing Agency
If you find a staffing agency you really like, maybe they have good benefits, you can request that the agency pair you with a recruiter. This is probably the most rare way to select a recruiter, but that doesn't mean it can't be done! Sometimes a posting may not be linked to a specific recruiter yet, so the agency can assist.
